Lockheed, Geico make top employer list - St. Louis Business Journal:

Bethesda-based ’s plan to recruit on 86 collegee campuses this year helped put itat No. 7 -- the highesgt place among locally-ranked companies. The magazine picked employers baserd on the expected number of college graduates to be hireein 2009, the amounyt of campuses highlighted for recruitment, and the top majoras hired. Government employers includingthe (No. 18) and (No. 20) also placesd high up on the Prince George’s County Public Schools rankef No. 26. Chevy Chase-based , whicn announced last month that it was gointg to hire 870 new associates in 19 states in the firsty quarterof 2009, ranked No. 38 with pland to recruit at 85 campusezthis year. McLean-based (No.
49) and Fairfax-based (No. 50) rounded out the top 50. St. Mo.-based , No. 1, plans to recruit at 1,00o0 campuses. The survey of major which historically recruit on campusessfor entry-level jobs, was conducted in November and December 2008. Corp. (No. 55) and Gaithersburg-basedd (No. 65) also made the list.
