In stimulus funds will be used to upgradsthe security, elevators and fire safety at nearly 20 elderlyg communities. Other projects will involve replacing fencing, roofing, cabinets, and heating, ventilation and air conditionintg systems. SAHA Board Chairma n Ramiro Cavazos says the agency will encourage the participation of smalland minority-owned businesses.
